THAIPUSAM

The committee headed by Mr Sagaran supported by Mr Saravanan + Mr Gopal with other Indian community in Taman Muhibbah Jaya 2

There are 3 chariots every year in conjunction with the Thaipusam. KRT Taman-Taman Muhibbah, Sungai Siput has been sponsoring a food and drinks kiosk in Taman Muhibbah Jaya 2 for the pass 5 years. A small token of RM500 from KRT Taman-Taman Muhibbah with some contributions from the public is enough for the Thaipusam kiosk. This kiosk is handle by Mr. Sagaran (Treasurer, KRT Taman-Taman Muuhibbah) supported by Saravanan & Kogi (both are committee members), Mr Gopal and others.

 

PUBLIC AMENITIES - Taman Muhibbah Aman

The committee members of KRT Taman-Taman Muhibbah and Persatuan Komuniti Muhibbah have their periodic check around Kampung Muhibbah Fasa 2B, Taman Muhibbah Aman, Taman Muhibbah Jaya and Taman Muhibbah Jaya 2 on weekend.

It was found that the basketball courts in Taman Muhibbah Aman are in depleted shape. This is dangerous to those children playing there. The structure is foul and smelly, overgrown by creepies and full of rubbish. 

An official written complaint has been sent to MPKK. An officer said, "the structure and basketball courts were built by the developer, can RT help to maintain it?". My immediate respond is, all the residences in these housing estates playing their assessment regularly, the up-keeping and maintenance of public amenities and facilities are the responsibility of the municipal council!

We, being volunteers and civil societies are helping the local government to ensure the surroundings are clean, safe and harmony living among all races. These are our duties and responsibilities. We do not have enough fund to maintain the public amenities and facilities.
