CLEANING LINTANG MAKMUR LAKE

The recent rainy season, brought damages to road and flash flood to few areas in Sg. Siput. Taman Lintang Makmur is one of the area affected. The local government has cleaned and deepened the Lintang Makmur lake recently. The beautified lake attracted fishing kaki to fish around. Now the lake can acts as retention pond more efficiently. Hopefully, the flashflood solved.

DANGEROUS ROAD

The main entrance from Jalan Kuala Kangsar turning into Jalan Dato' See Khoon Lim is a dangerous zone. Due to a road accident a few months ago, part of the junction was damaged and covered by sand and pebbles. The road has been resurfaced but uneven. These are the factors that endanger the life of the road users especially motorcyclist. Few minor accidents occurred.

KRT Taman-Taman Muhibbah & Komuniti Muhibbah committee members visited this area on 25 January, 2015, an official written complaint forwarded to Sungai Siput JKR by hand.

The JKR Sungai Siput official told us that immediate actions will be taken to clear all the sand and pebbles. The maintenance contractor, Belati Wangsa will be ask to redo the area.

This area re-visited on 3 February, 2015 and found that the area has been cleaned.
