Recent heavy rain has destroyed the road leading to Kampung Pisang. This road has been temporarily repaired by the villagers. The nearby estate management has assisted. The Sg Siput Penghulu has been notified and I was informed that the matter has been brought to the EXCO attention. Hopefully, road repair and maintenance allocation will be received soon.
PPBM Sungai Siput has organised the B2 licence application and test with the cooperation from Akademi Memandu Alam SS. The cost of the licence is RM250. Open for all Sungai Siput folks irrespective of race, religion, creed and political background. Targeted participants are 1000 people. The amount is very cheap compared to the normal charge about RM420. It is a corporate social responsibility by Akademi Memandu Alam SS during this pandemic situation.
A protest letter on logging activity in Hutan Simpan Korbu near Kg. Pisang, Jalong Tinggi has been sent to Perak Menteri Besar and Pengarah Jabatan Perhutanan Perak. Pengarah JAKOA Perak and the district JAKOA has been notified.
